Terms and Conditions for use of equipment at Sana Recovery

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of our equipment with Sana Recovery including but not limited to cold plunges and wood burning saunas. By using our facilities and services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. General Terms

1.1. The services provided include access to cold plunge baths, wood fire saunas, and other related equipment("Services").
1.2. These services are intended to promote health and wellness. However, they are not substitutes for medical advice or treatment.
1.3. By using our Services, you confirm that you are in good medical health and are able to tolerate heat and cold exposure.

2. Eligibility and Health Considerations

2.1. Age Restrictions: Users must be at least 18 years of age
2.2. Health Conditions: If you have any medical conditions such as heart disease, respiratory conditions, skin disorders, pregnant, or trying to conceive it is advised to consult with a healthcare professional before using the Services.
2.3. Waiver: Users may be asked to complete a waiver or health assessment before using the services to ensure that they are medically cleared.
2.4. Risk Acknowledgment: You understand that exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) can cause discomfort, fainting, burns, hypothermia, Heat Stroke, Low Blood Pressure, Respiratory Issues,  Decreased Fertility, other medical conditions if not used responsibly.

3. Cold Plunge Safety and Guidelines

3.1. Cold Plunge Duration: We recommend that users limit their cold plunge to a maximum of 1-5 minutes, depending on individual tolerance.
3.2. Signs of Distress: If you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or experience any discomfort during the cold plunge, you should exit immediately and notify a staff member.
3.3. Temperature: The cold plunge water temperature may range from 4oC to 10°C).
3.4. Post-Plunge: After a cold plunge, it is advised to warm up gradually. Do not immediately jump into a sauna if your body temperature is significantly lowered.

4. Wood Fire Sauna Safety and Guidelines

4.1. Sauna Duration: We recommend sauna sessions be limited to 5-20 minutes at a time. Extended exposure may cause dehydration or heat exhaustion.
4.2. Hydration: Ensure you are properly hydrated before and after using the sauna. Dehydration can increase the risk of heat-related illnesses.
4.3. Temperature: The sauna temperature may range from 65°C to 90°C.
4.4. Exiting the Sauna: If you feel lightheaded, dizzy, or uncomfortable, exit the sauna immediately and cool down. Ask for help from a team member.
4.5. Clothing: You are required to use a towel and appropriate swimwear while using the sauna. Thongs are required while in the wet room.

5. Behaviour and Facility Use

5.1. Respect for Others: Please be respectful of other guests using the facilities. No loud noises, disruptive behaviour, or inappropriate conduct is allowed.
5.2. Personal Hygiene: Shower before using the cold plunge and sauna to maintain cleanliness and ensure the safety of all users.
5.3. Alcohol and Drugs: The use of alcohol or recreational drugs before or during the use of the Services is strictly prohibited.:

6. Liability and Assumption of Risk

6.1. Assumption of Risk: By using the Services, you acknowledge that you are aware of the risks involved with exposure to extreme temperatures and assume full responsibility for your health and well-being.
6.2. Liability Waiver: You agree to release and hold harmless the facility Sana Recovery, its owners, employees, agents, and contractors from any liability for injuries, accidents, or health issues resulting from the use of the Services.
6.3. Informed Consent: By using the Services, you affirm that you understand the potential risks associated with hot and cold therapy and voluntarily accept those risks.

7. Facility Maintenance and Safety

7.1. Facility Inspection: The facility reserves the right to inspect and maintain the sauna, cold plunge, and other equipment to ensure safety and quality.
7.2. Emergency Situations: In the event of an emergency, please immediately alert a staff member or use emergency contacts provided in the facility.
7.3. Facility Closure: The facility may close or temporarily suspend Services for maintenance, safety concerns, or other operational reasons.

8. Pricing and Payment

8.1. Pricing: All pricing for the Services will be clearly displayed and communicated to users prior to booking.
8.2. Payment Terms: Payment must be made in full before using the Services. Refunds or credits will be handled as per the facility's refund policy.
8.3. Membership or Package: If you have a membership or package, please refer to your specific agreement for terms related to service use.

9. Modifications and Updates

9.1. Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the facility's website or communicated directly to users.
9.2. Binding Agreement: Continued use of the Services after any modifications to these Terms will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Cancellation Agreement

10.1 No Refunds Policy: All appointments, services, and bookings are non-refundable.
10.2. Cancellation Notice: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduledappointment time to be eligible for a credit.  Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will not be eligible for credit.
10.3. Credit Issuance: If a cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance, a credit equal to the value of the booked service will be issued.  This credit can be used for future bookings within 12 months from the date of the cancelled appointment.  Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable
10.4. Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for your appointment, the session will end at the originally scheduled time, and no refund or credit will be issued for the unused portion of the session.

By booking an appointment with Sana Recovery Pty Ltd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms of this cancellation policy.
